Security in BriskRepair is structural rather than cosmetic: access rules are enforced on the server, not by hiding buttons in the interface.
How access control works
- Each business's data is isolated from every other business
- Staff see only the locations they are a member of
- Roles (owner, admin, manager, technician, cashier) control what can be done
- Every sensitive action is checked again on the server
- Financial records such as receipts are immutable once issued
- Refunds and stock movements are recorded as an audit trail, never overwritten
Payment credentials
Card payments run through Briskmind Payments. Payment credentials are held server-side only and are never exposed to the browser, and BriskRepair does not store full card numbers.
Your responsibilities
Use strong, unique passwords, give staff the lowest role that lets them do their job, and remove access when someone leaves.
